Good things come to those who wait, and the Air Jordan 4 SE Black Canvas is no exception. Originally cited to drop on August 27th, this fresh take on the classic Michael Jordan endorsed kick looks like it’ll keep sneakerheads waiting a little longer for their next cop, with a new rumoured release date of October 22nd.
The followup to a neutral ‘Sail’ colourway earlier this year, the Air Jordan 4 SE Black Canvas foregoes a traditional leather construction in favour of lightweight textiles. Panels of inky black suede and mesh lend support and breathability in all the right places, while grey wings and eyelets add a layer of tonal depth to the look. It stays true to Jordan 4 DNA with visible Nike Air Cushioning and a signature Jumpman logo to the tongue tab and heel, too. 
The 4 turned the ripe age of 33 this year, but its evolution is far from over. In fact, if the hype and mystery surrounding this pair’s release date is anything to go by, it’s looking more popular than ever.
