3 Sneaker Releases You Won't Want To Miss This October

New season, new sneakers.

October’s shaping up to be a pretty big month when it comes to sneaker releases. The Jordan 3 Retro ‘Black Gold’ and the Air Max 1 ’87 ‘NBHD’ ushered sneakerheads into autumn last week with their warm, earthy hues, and there’s plenty more where that came from as the rest of the month unfolds.

We’ve abridged October's drop schedule to bring you a top 3 that’s geared up for the changing seasons, courtesy of Nike, adidas YEEZY and Air Jordan. Keep reading for all the dates and details you need to stay ahead of the game.

Nike Dunk Low Fleece

Consistently a sneakersfromtom bestseller in its classic black and white format, Nike’s Dunk Low is reimagined in cosy fleece just in time for the colder months. The light Green and deep Burgundy Crush colourways both arrive on October 22nd, each serving up their own take on autumn/winter palettes.

Soft shaggy finish aside, the Nike Dunk Low Fleece stays true to the tried-and-tested characteristics that make the model so popular. The classic stitching remains in the midsole, for instance, while the Swoosh retains pride of place on the upper and the signature Dunk blocking pattern continues to offer contrast and structure.

Come rain or shine, Nike finds a way to keep this kick at the forefront of your rotation. Lived in your Dunks all summer? This sneaker release is one you’ll want on your radar.

 YEEZY BSKTBL Knit Onyx

The NBA is rumoured to have banned adidas YEEZY’s BSKTBL sneaker back in 2018 over concerns about its 3M accents, but Kanye West has never been one to go down without a fight. Arriving (minus reflective details) on October 28th, the YEEZY BSKTBL Knit Onyx gets the green light on and off the court.

As its name suggests, this high-top sneaker is defined by soft knit uppers for a sock-like fit and ultra-flexible movement. Its tonal black, silver and grey ‘Onyx’ colourway makes it straightforward to style too, complementing basically everything in your wardrobe whatever the season.

Prefer your YEEZY’s to hit a little lower on the ankle? Hold out one more day and try your luck with the YEEZY Boost 350 V2 Zebra, scheduled to drop on October 29th

Air Jordan 4 Retro Midnight Navy

A cool-toned contrast to 2020’s ‘Fire Red’, the Air Jordan 4 Retro Midnight Navy is one of October’s most-hyped sneaker releases.

This AJ4 uses smooth white leather as a backdrop for Midnight Navy and Cement Grey accents to the upper, midsole, sock liner and eyelet wings - a simple but super clean palette that takes you from warmer months to colder ones and back again. In fact, it’s a colour combination so versatile that it’s been used on the Jordan 1, Jordan 3 and Jordan 6 alike within the past few years.

One of the Jordan brand’s most sought after silhouettes, the 4’s had a spot in the sneaker hall of fame since way back in ’89. If you don’t already have a pair or two in your collection, there’s never been a better moment to invest. This one releases on October 29th - don’t miss out.
